At Marks & Harrison, we’re proud to support the next generation of legal professionals. This summer, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming two bright and enthusiastic interns, Noelle Dragan and Haylee Collins, to our team. In celebration of National Intern Day, let’s hear about their experiences.
Noelle, an undergraduate at McDaniel College, is gaining valuable office skills and exploring career paths in our Petersburg office. Her goal for this internship is to learn about the legal field in hopes of uncovering her future career path. After just a couple of months in our Petersburg office, she’s already learning about the various roles within a law firm. If she could swap roles for a day, Noelle would choose to be an intake person because she enjoys talking to people and hearing their stories. A fun fact about Noelle: she’s conversationally fluent in Spanish.
Our other intern, Haylee Collins, an undergraduate at Mississippi State University, is preparing for law school. Her goal this summer is to gain as much exposure to the legal field as possible at our Chesterfield office.
“Working at Marks & Harrison has given me the amazing opportunity to directly experience the daily schedule and responsibilities of the attorneys and staff,” Haylee explained. She finds witnessing the application of legal knowledge to real cases incredibly valuable. If she could swap roles for a day, Haylee would choose to be an attorney to experience strategizing with a team for a client’s benefit. A fun fact about Haylee is that she danced for 15 years!
We’re incredibly fortunate to have Noelle and Haylee with us this summer. Their eagerness to learn and positive attitudes are truly appreciated. We wish them the very best in their future endeavors!
Happy National Intern Day to Noelle and Haylee!
