Brian Braswell, Intake Specialist

Brian brings over 35 years of investigative and public service experience to Marks & Harrison. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran of Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Brian previously served 27 years with the Petersburg Bureau of Police, retiring as Deputy Chief. His law enforcement career included roles as SWAT Commander and lead instructor in interviewing.

Most recently, Brian worked as an Abuse and Neglect Investigator for the Virginia DBHDS, where he handled over 600 cases and taught investigative techniques. At the firm, he utilizes his deep expertise in interviewing and case evaluation to assist clients through the intake process.
