Dean C. Marcus has been in practice since 2002, concentrating his practice in criminal defense. Graduating with a B.A. from Gettysburg College in 1996, he received his J.D. in 2001 from the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law. Before joining Marks & Harrison he practiced criminal defense in the Richmond area. He has defended clients on charges ranging from general district court traffic offenses such as speeding reckless driving and DUI’s to Circuit Court trials in front of juries for rape, murder, robbery, home invasions and abductions. He also practiced extensively in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts as well as petitioning, briefing, and arguing cases in the Court of Appeals of Virginia and the Virginia Supreme Court. Dean also serves as an adjunct instructor for the Virginia Commonwealth University’s Graduate School of Forensic Science.
