Recently Marks & Harrison had the chance to sponsor “Bangers and Dinks” a lively pickleball event benefiting Comfort Zone Camp, a vital nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of grieving children and young adults.
Comfort Zone Camp, a 501(c)3 bereavement organization, offers free programs designed to help children (ages 7-17) and young adults (ages 18-25) who have experienced the profound loss of a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or other significant person. Their unique programs provide a safe and supportive environment through trust-building activities and age-based support groups, effectively breaking the emotional isolation that grief often brings. Comfort Zone also offers family programs, recognizing the importance of healing together.
The “Bangers and Dinks” event brought together pickleball enthusiasts for a day of friendly competition, all while raising awareness and funds for Comfort Zone Camp’s impactful mission. Marks & Harrison is committed to active community involvement and regularly supports organizations that contribute positively to the well-being of Virginians!
