Joanna L. Suyes
Joanna L. Suyes focuses her practice on
representing the injured.
Joanna grew up in Chesterfield County,
graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1989 and
received her M. Div. from the Baptist Theological Seminary
at Richmond in 1997. After working at Marks & Harrison
for nearly fifteen years as a legal assistant, she received
her J. D. cum laude in 2007 from the T. C. Williams
School of Law at the University of Richmond. She was one of
the first two student to receive the VTLA Bruce D. Rasmussen Trial
Advocacy Memorial Scholarship. Joanna has
worked as an associate at Marks and Harrison since that
time.
